I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and raised in the small town of Oneida, which is just west of Green Bay. Most of my childhood consisted of farm chores of one kind or another. I worked on the farm my father had and after he sold out I worked on my uncle's farm. Summers were filled with plenty of activities such as haying, gardening and spending time in the woods along side of the farm.We never seemed short on animals while being children. Some that you would never even expect to see. My brothers and I never thought twice about bringing home squirrels, chipmunks, snakes and toads. There was even a summer that we raised a homeless little skunk we called Petunia. I look back and feel sorry for my mother because she would have to check our pockets before she would do the laundry. There was always a good chance that a little snake or toad would be resting in them.

I graduated from Pulaski High School in 1973. It was there that I started my love for writing, with English being my major. Science was also one of my favorite subjects. Back then if you could have asked any of my teachers, if they thought I would be working on a book now, I think you would have heard nothing but laughter. Homework seemed to be a four letter word to me back then. I did great in class but once that bell rang, it was my time and homework just didn't seem to fit in.

After high school, I worked small jobs at a couple of gas stations in Green Bay. Yes, we even had full service back then. Filling the tanks, washing the windows and checking the oil, helped in making a few dollars for gas and a few nights out on the town.

In 1975 I joined the U.S. Army for a two year hitch. After basic training I was shipped to a small base in Germany. When you hear about fools that raise their hand when a volunteer is asked for, I was that fool. Fresh off the bus at the base in Germany they asked if anyone could type. My hand went up and I became the Night Clerk. It was a great job though, I would sleep in until all hours of the morning, have my fun during the day and report for duty in the evenings.

After the Army hitch I traveled  and worked different jobs throughout the states. I finally settled down back in Wisconsin again and helped in raising my four wonderful children. Woodworking became my passion and cabinetry became my life. It's amazing  what you can turn a pile of lumber into.

Reading seemed to be a way to escape for me. Sci-fi, romance, westerns, ficiton and mystery all seemed enjoyable to me, but being a manager and raising children didn't leave much time to read.

My second love is my bike, a 1983 FXRS Harley that I started to rebuild this past fall. While talking to Savannah, who I consider my best friend, about colors she thought I should paint the bike, she sent me a picture that she thought would look great on the tank. The magic started from there and soon we started co-writing the story called "Demon Lust" which is being published soon by Hellfire Publishing. I hope you find it enjoyable......there's more to come in the future.
